An otherworldly entity, the Cockatrice is an omen of despair to the inhabitants in the world of the Flux. Designed for immersive horror and high-intensity encounters, this creature moves with unsettling grace, its croaking wails echoing through the night at Altered LARP.

The planning for the creation of this creature included attention to mobility, heat, and visibility from the inside. It was also important for this creature to be able to consistently take a hit for many games to come and for the costume to be adjustable to fit many bodies of different actors. Constructed with a blend of hand-sculpted elements, faux fur, and electronic elements the costume balances eerie elegance with mobility. The articulated beak and illuminated eye enhance its expressive presence, ensuring a chilling experience for players.
